As much as I like clean and simple, often websites have a lot that needs to be shown on the home page. It can be a tough task to make a page that is packed with content and yet uncluttered. Here are some approaches that inspire me.

But each site features a big, bold, in your face look that will grab the visitor by the eyeballs and say, Look what we have to offer! And yet each of these sites manages to accomplish that without clutter. By limiting what is displayed on these home pages, the site puts greater focus on The Main Message — with very attractive results.

Saturday night website inspiration
Before web design, I worked in restaurant management. And I have always regretted never having an opportunity to do a restaurant’s site. Food, drinks, and often some great photography. What’s not to like? Because of the nature of the industry, food and beverage sites can be more creative than others and provide some of the best design inspiration.
