Monday afternoon website design inspiration

As much as I like clean and simple, often websites have a lot that needs to be shown on the home page. It can be a tough task to make a page that is packed with content and yet uncluttered. Here are some approaches that inspire me.

Monday afternoon website design inspiration

This latest collection of websites we admire share little in common as far as products or services offered. But each site features a big, bold, in your face look that will grab the visitor by the eyeballs and say, Look what we have to offer! And yet each of these sites manages to accomplish that without clutter. By limiting what is displayed on these home pages, the site puts greater focus on The Main Message — with very attractive results.

Enjoy!

Saturday night website inspiration

Before web design, I worked in restaurant management. And I have always regretted never having an opportunity to do a restaurant’s site. Food, drinks, and often some great photography. What’s not to like? Because of the nature of the industry, food and beverage sites can be more creative than others and provide some of the best design inspiration. Here is a small sampling of some of my favorites. A couple are not strictly restaurants or bars but they fit here, nonetheless. Good eating!

Thursday evening website inspiration

Some of my clients can barely write 100 words about their business. And others have so much to say that they fear making their website look too crowded or busy. I am here to say that a busy page can still look attractive and inviting. Pay attention to best design principles and you can pack a lot into a web page with great success. Here are a few such sites that have caught my eye recently.
